American Canyon is a growing city with small town charm, to the south of the Napa Valley. It houses approximately 20,000 residents.
The city launched after the end of World War II. The McKnight Acres subdivision was the first residential subdivision built in the area. Unlike other subdivisions, owners bought the lots and built their American Canyon, California homes by themselves.
